Telehealth Physical Therapy

While our location remains open, we are now offering telehealth appointments from the comfort of your home.

Apex Physical therapists are your local experts in muscle, joint, spine aches and pains.  We are experts in promoting strength, function, and fall reduction.  Access to skilled care is important to us here at Apex.  If you are experiencing pain, discomfort, and/or simple daily tasks are more limiting than they should be, consider getting some assistance in the safety and comfort of your own home.

Apex is excited to announce affordable access to physical therapy via video conferencing, also called Telehealth.

Benefits of Telehealth:

  • Quick Access
  • One on one consultation with a licensed physical therapist
  • Education on diagnosis and how to proceed in the safety of your own home
  • No unnecessary travel
  • Establish care with an expert that can help you through this time

 Commonly treated conditions:

  • Low back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Headaches
  • Muscle and joint pain
  • Recent sprains and strains, we can help you decide if further care is needed
  • Orthopedic conditions that had surgeries delayed by state mandate

Most insurances accept and pay for Telehealth Physical Therapy, for those unsure, contact us.  We have a reduced rate for self-pay and have a cost reduction sliding scale for those struck by these hard times.

Telehealth and Insurances:

We will make every attempt to bill your insurance. We have been working diligently to get in touch with all the insurances that we regularly work with and verify if they do or do not accept bills for Telehealth visits, which is currently the case for Medicare.

In that instance, our cash rate is significantly reduced to $50 for an evaluation and $50 follow up for a Telehealth visit or for a follow-up visit. We are committed to helping our patients maintain access to us during this pandemic, regardless of ability to pay. We will work with any individual who cannot afford the discounted rate.

Our profession is working hard on getting insurances to cover telehealth, but every insurance is different and sets their own policies, and we will continuously check with the insurance companies to see if they have changed their status on coverage.

If you have a copayment for your in-clinic PT visits, you will have the same copayment for Telehealth PT visit. We can process your payment over the phone at the clinic.
